JTI | Making The Invisible Visible

We all know that personal and other sensitive data is precious and the consequences can be life-changing if it falls into the wrong hands. It’s frighteningly easy to unknowingly or accidentally share information. JTI asked us to create an immersive experience that would help protect them from this threat.

The Concept

Our idea was based around making the invisible visible, literally showing the viewer how their seemingly secure data can be seen by people without you realising it.

The 360 experiential nature of the film spoke to the idea of your data being all around you, not what is just in front of you, but in places you’d least expect, hidden from view.

This is something that can have a huge impact on a person’s life, without them even knowing it has happened.

The Process

This 360 filmic experience was designed to expose the hidden dimensions of the digital world, showing how digital information is transmitted, the hackers attacking it and the systems defending it.

Using Samsung Gear VR headsets we took JTI employees on a journey to see what happens when you unknowingly share valuable personal digital information with someone else.

To deliver this message in the most impactful way, we debuted the 360 video at an interactive event held at JTI’s offices, inviting employees to step into this invisible digital world to experience it for themselves.
